The Energy West Public Awareness Program is designed to raise the awareness of the affected public and key stakeholders of the presence of pipelines in their communities, and their understanding of pipelines in transporting energy.
Energy West also wants to raise the awareness of the hazards that may result in activity in close proximity to the pipelines and those hazards due to pipeline operations, and measures undertaken to prevent impact to public safety, property, or the environment.
Don’t forget to call 811 at least two days prior to any digging to locate and mark underground utilities, it’s FREE and it’s the law! You can also visit http://www.montana811.org/ for additional information and submit a utility locate request online.
