Frontier Energy began serving its first customer in December 1998. Today, it provides safe, reliable natural gas service to approximately 640 full service, residential and commercial customers and 23 large commercial/industrial transportation service only customers in Surry, Wiles, Yadkin, Watauga, Ashe and Warren counties, covering 2800 square miles with a population of approximately 262,000.

Natural gas and transportation service is delivered via a newly constructed modern network consisting of 138 miles of high pressure transmission pipeline and 149 miles of distribution pipeline.
